Favorite Card Game?
When you're relaxing with friends, family, or co-workers what card game is your favorite?
My current favorite is Euchre. Just learned it a few months ago and I can't get enough of it! Addicting. The views expressed in the above post are the sole opinion of the author and do not reflect any official position by the author's employer and/or municipality.

I love cards, but Spades is my expertise. I'm a Spades master.

Poker and Euchre is my favorite when relaxing and having a few beers.
Pinochle is my favorite for a card game that requires just a little bit more thinking and strategery.

I voted "other" because I could play Spades until the cows come home. LOVE that game!

Uno? Haha
There’s a promise I need you to make
While I’m gone you take care of the love
And I’ll deal with the hate.
Don’t worry about me; I’ll be all right
Just care for your children and sleep tight
I’ll keep you safe on my watch tonight

Texas Hold'em Poker. How do you think I paid for this fancy Lifetime Supporting membership?

Love most but during College, it was nothing but Cribbage and Euchre. Cribbage we would play a nickel a point, winnings double with a skunk and triple with a double skunk

I'm a bit retarded when it comes to card games, I never can remember how to play even after being taught multiple times. I generally stick with blackjack because of that.

Of those that were on the list I like Hearts! My Dad, sisters and I would play it all the time. Dad tried teaching us Poker but Mom squelched that idea pretty fast. She didn't think it was a ladylike game for her daughters to learn.
Those that aren't on the list that I like: Uno, Phase 10 and Rook!

Poker for money. Here's a helpful hint for poker players - CT209 sucks at poker or is the most unlucky person alive and usually loses. But he likes to play for the pure enjoyment of the game and doesn't mind losing some money.
Pinochle and cribbage if I can find people that play well. Next is Spades, Hearts and Back-alley."When a crime is committed, liberals blame society. Conservatives blame the criminal." -Debra Saunders

Another card game that is a lot of fun (with a fairly large group) is Pit. If you've never played it, give it a try...just make sure it doesn't get violent. heh
