8-26-08 Question of the Day
Why do you press harder on the remote-control when you know the battery is dead?

How many people actually do that besides Reca?

I'll take the batteries out and switch them around or clean off the ends to see if I can get just a little more juice til I can find batteries to fit. Reca, I think you might be the only one who presses harder, lol. OMG, am I agreeing with Jenna????? Damn, I gotta get out more!
My dad, I miss him every day.

I think this is a Reca-specific question but I could be wrong.

To use up the little amount of juice the battery still has!

It seems that Reca is sharing his life's misfortunes here by asking us questions relating to his personal experiences

I do the press harder thing until my wife gets home. Then, I have her get some new batteries out of the drawer and bring them over to me!

You press it harder because you want to make sure the issue is a dead battery and not the fact that you didn't push the button hard enough for the censor to activate and perform the desired function.
