Sounds like the Roll Tide's fan (intentionally singular) is a little full of himself.

I know it's early in the season and many teams played cupcakes, but the SEC represented well for opening weekend I thought...and Five-0, I'll give 'Bama props, they looked pretty good. Honestly, before the game started, I didn't think y'all were going to win that one, but I was still pulling for the SEC as usual.

ISO607,
Not trying to get the big head just yet, but the SEC showed everyone that this the conference to beat in college football. Yes, I am a huge Bama homer, but down deep I love to see the SEC beat the hell out non conference opponents. I even hope the pos vols beat UCLA on Monday while I work traffic overtime.

One of my partners is a HUGE Bama fan. His entire plan last night on his day off was to watch them stomp Clemson, eat pizza, and drink copious amounts of beer. I'm guessing he did exactly what he wanted.
Sweet Tide picture, too. I emailed it to him.The views expressed in the above post are the sole opinion of the author and do not reflect any official position by the author's employer and/or municipality.

"It's a great life. You risk your skin catching killers and the juries turn them loose so they can come back and shoot at you again. If your honest , your poor your whole life. And , In the end , you wind up dying all alone on some dirty street. For what? For nothing. For a tin star."
Far from being a handicap to command, compassion is the measure of it. For unless one values the lives of his soldiers and is tormented by their ordeals , he is unfit to command.

Great minds think alike. That matched my evening perfectly.
Excellent find CoolBreeze. Clemson was drinking Gatorade and the Tide was drinking the glacier water.

Well someone said roll tide so I've got to throw out a WAR EAGLE!
But UA did look good I must say. Lot better than Auburn did. The defense was great, but the offense isn't going to cut it like that.

Don't know Five O after watching some of tha games this weekend it looks like the PAC 10 is going to be pretty tough.
The Punk 10 has USC (yes I give them respect) and maybe one other decent team every year. With all the injuries UCLA has I don't know if that will be them yet. Top to bottom the SEC is the toughest week to week. However, if another SEC team had to loose I'm glad it was Fat Phil Fulmer's bunch.
