A common Indian langur monkey whose mother was killed by stray dogs has become inseparable from the family who rescued it.
The monkey, which has been named Ramu, was rescued by Anil Harshid Mehta when it was two days old. It clings to Rashmi, the wife of Mr Mehta, during the day, even when she rides her moped. Ramu also plays with their daughter Diksha, 2, pictured above. Mrs Mehta, 28, said: I feel as if he is part of my life like Diksha. They love to play together. The family, from Bharuch in Gujarat, have decided not to release the monkey into the wild.

Great!! A monkey like this doesn't deserve to be released into the wild.
