The one about gay marriage (I don't agree with either of them...I think it should be legal, but I'm pretty sure both of them say they oppose it, but are in favor of allowing gay folks to be able to enter into civil unions for insurance, contract, and other benefits those of us have that were smart enough to choose to be straight have
) and the global warming one (how to best get the nation to the pre-1990 levels..again, I don't agree with either of them, but on this one, I think McCain has a better plan).

Wow, I think you should make a post in your forum about legalizing gay marriage and global warming. Could lead to some interesting discussion.

I suppose that would get some people to check into there...I think I'll write one on Global Warming. And I'll take the "For" position. This pussy-ass globe has been far too cold for far too long! That fucker needs to shape up or ship out! If it can't stand the heat, it should get out of the kitchen. Pussy.

ABC makes me sick. "2 candidates 1 vote"? Bob Barr, while I'm not voting for him, is the Libertarian candidate. So there are 3. America isn't a 2 party system, folks. Because that's just one more party than a socialist system.
But that's what liberals want, so that's what the media's giving you.
So for ABC:

I didn't say it was, Jmur. I didn't know about the other two candidates.
I would vote for Obama twice before I voted for Cynthia McKinney. She's more of a liberal/muslim than Obama is. Be-lee dat!."If everyone is thinking alike, then someone isn't thinking." -Gen. George S. Patton

I actually agreed more with McCain than with Obama on 4 things!

They were:
1. Withdrawing from Iraq before adequate security is established would be bad (rather than Obama's withdraw from Iraq "now", which I think was an exaggerated statement he made for dramatic rhetorical effect and which he has backed away from by "now"
).
2. Civil unions are okay (rather than Obama's leave it to the states--again a quote that I don't think captures his full position, which is similar to McCain's).
3. Gradual reduction in emissions (a bit more realistic than Obama's 80% cap, which again I would prefer but don't think is so realistic and think was mostly a rhetorical flourish on Obama's part). Although I do like Bob Loblaw's "pro-global-warming, tough on cold earth which should get out of the kitchen if it can't take the heat" approach too!
4. Judicial self-restraint (rather than Obama's empathy with disadvantaged groups--I guess I naively believe that judicial self-restraint need not preclude empathy with disadvantaged groups
)

Good Lord Jenna you're turning into a republican!! You acctually agreed with McCain on the major issues but you didn't say anything about nucular power, remember the French when they aren't making white flags are getting most of their power from nucular.

Well I thought I was for McCain....
and I was right! I had agreed with Obam only on the gay issue... sort of. We should not allow the gays to enter civil unions for contracts, etc. Actually, I disagreed with both of them on this point.
