SI VIS PACEM PARA BELLUM-Ex-Sheriff Martin Howe to Will Kane in "High Noon"
"It's a great life. You risk your skin catching killers and the juries turn them loose so they can come back and shoot at you again. If your honest , your poor your whole life. And , In the end , you wind up dying all alone on some dirty street. For what? For nothing. For a tin star."
Far from being a handicap to command, compassion is the measure of it. For unless one values the lives of his soldiers and is tormented by their ordeals , he is unfit to command.

It depends on the battery, so for purposes of keeping this short my example will be an Alkaline battery. An alkaline battery has an alkaline cathode which consists of manganese dioxide, graphie and an electrolyte which is compressed into a talbet. Several of these tablets are put into a steel can and together form the cathode. The cathode and anode portions of the battery are seperated by a thin paper film which is soaked with an electrolyte that promotes ionic conductivity when the battery is in use. The anode is inserted into the steel can against the paper seperator. It is a gel comprised of zinc powder and other materials. The battery is then sealed and ready for use.

Around here, the batteries usually run on the sidewalks and in the alleys. Sometimes, they're accompanied with a pile of salt.
