I just bought a new latop
And yeah, it's pretty sweet. It's a Dell Inspiron Mini 9. I love it. It's literally 9 inches. The compactness of it is great. I already have a large IBM Thinkpad, so I wanted something smaller. I love it, and thanks to my new gig, I got a discount on it!

Now I'm gonna go cry in the corner for a while.

I love my Dell laptop. Tax return early this year bought two of them, one for me and one for the wife.
No more fights over the computer.
Plus, Dell makes a smoking hot laptop. It runs circles around my old desktop.
Enjoy the new purchase Term!I'm your huckleberry...

I have a Dell laptop too (Latitude D600 1.2GHz). I actually bought it used for $250 at PropertyRoom.com, and the only upgrade I had to make was to add 1GB of memory - the 256MB of memory made it dog slow.
I only have one complaint with it. The hard drive seems to be a lot slower than my desktop's hard drive, but I could probably upgrade that too, plus put 2GB in it and it'd be fine.
It's a throw-away at this point, so screw the Indian customer service - It'd probably wear me out trying to understand every third word, because it sure wears me out at work

Sweet.............Dells are nice, I have a 17" Dell Inspiron. But I just purchased a new Gateway desktop with a 24" wide screen monitor to play my game, (America's Army) online game. Of course I had to add memory and just added a sweet video card, which in turn I had to purchase a more powerful power supply............

That's my next purchase. I have a new XPS M1330 now that's loaded with options, but I want one for my patrol bag.
I can get a 16GB SSD XP model with BT and 2GB of RAM + the bigger cam for $400 shipped. What did you end up paying Brad?
My only plans for it are a DC adapter for my patrol car and a nice sleeve. It will permanently live in my patrol bag and tether to my BB for intarwebs and movies on OT gigs.
