Sertoma Cajun Air Festival
Well all of us located in the deep south.........it seems this is going to be a really nice air show at Lafayette Regional Airport on 11/01/2008 and 11/02/2008. Here is a link if you are thinking of attending...............

. . . and an extra feature of this year's show will be a custom car display.
Supposed to be a few million $$$$$ worth of show cars.
Will be on the tarmac near the spectator area.
(Gates open at 0800 hours both days. Enter on Tower Drive off of US90.)

I was actually trying to think of something to do or somewhere to go with my family that weekend. We had discussed going to the zoo in Lafayette since we have been to the one here in Baton Rouge more times than I wish to count. I had no idea that was going on that weekend, and I bet it will be more fun than a zoo. Thanks.

Well we went to the air show yesterday...............it was awesome, the weather was perfect. Jenn, Luke and myself had a blast. We can't wait for next year, we going again. If you live in the area I would make plans to go see this show, The Thunderbirds were the bomb!!!!!!!!

This is the C-17 Transport. The Thunderbird's ground crew travels in it.
(For a size comparison, notice the guy on the ladder under the engine on the right side of the pic.)
HEY, come to think about it, I finally found something wider than my ex-wife's butt!!

The really funny thing is we took pics all day and of course the Thunderbirds flew last. Of course Jenn's camera decided to run out of battery power....................lol, but here are a few more.
