You should immediately go take a shower - make sure you wash it alllll out of your eyes.

Actually the shower wasn't so bad. I did get a little bit of reactivation, but luckily it was only on the side of my face and ear and a little bit on my neck. Once I was out of the shower and all dried off it went away in about 10 minutes.
From my initial spray (which was to 1122 hrs central) it took me about 20 minutes before I could open my eyes more than 25% of the way unassisted and the burning lessened. This was after using baby shampoo, milk, and water.
did I mention it sucked...Remember those who died, remember those who killed them. This is myspace.

Not sure of the brand, can't remember. But we had an option of many things. All I can remember is that he used a blue can and the spray was red.

I also remember that it wasn't Fox or a Foam. He encouraged us to use it, the Fox, but something in his eyes just said....stay the fuck away from the Fox. I also saw two guys go through the foam...poor dumb bastards.

sabre oil based is better than water based cause the water base doesnt affect the eyes as much as the oil based. personal experience.

03-11-06, 10:58 PM #13Pretty sure that isn't it. I believe ours was around 5% and flammable. I also didn't get a good look at the can, but I remember it being a darker blue.

Fox sucks, I had blisters on my eyelids because of that devil juice. Oil based is great, unless you are using a taser, something about a pyrotechnic display if they interact, I thought it my be cool too see someone burst into flame, but i am demented.

I know we need to know the effects. I just dont favor spraying a caustic substance in ones eyes for training.

Bonk from GT told me to bring Dawn dishsoap when we got sprayed (Sabre btw, and I wasn't impressed). I washed good twice with it and felt tons better. Then upon showering the only reactivation I had was a spot about the size of a pen tip by my left eye.
