Well of course the polls say that Obama is going to win, they keep asking you. Nobody has polled me.

"It's a great life. You risk your skin catching killers and the juries turn them loose so they can come back and shoot at you again. If your honest , your poor your whole life. And , In the end , you wind up dying all alone on some dirty street. For what? For nothing. For a tin star."
Far from being a handicap to command, compassion is the measure of it. For unless one values the lives of his soldiers and is tormented by their ordeals , he is unfit to command.

Your choices are messed up.
They should read:

Obama wins the pop. and McCain the electoral. Exit polls will show an Obama landslide and will be wrong again just like four years ago. At least I hope. This will be close, that I KNOW.

Most pollsters and their polls have built-in biases based on faulty political perspectives.. Obama is the expected winner so anything democrat is normal. Many people being polled are not going to tell an unknown voice over the phone their true feelings. I've never been polled by a major pollster, but have heard it takes all of a half hour or more to conduct a full poll and they keep asking the same question over and over in such a way as to get the person being polled so confused that many after 15 20 minutes have hung up in disgust.
We haven't heard from the little guy and gal in rural America yet nor from all the Al the plumbers, Joe the electricians and other small business owners.
Also, about this time tomorrow night we may be getting some idea whether Obama's close ties with Benjamin Wright, Bill Ayers, Louis Farakahn, Tony Rezko and other sordid characters will have any effect on the outcome of this election.

Not sure what "blowout" is defined as, but I believe it will be a significant decision for Obama. :/
I'm not ruining your life, you are, and I'm just going to write a short story about it.

I think it will be interesting to see.
Whatever the outcome, I hope that both major parties can set aside their rancor, roll up their sleeves, and get down to the serious business of rebuilding our economy.
In times of crisis, the great leaders have understood the value of reaching across the aisle, and those on the other side who possess good judgement would welcome the opportunity to be a productive participant to the recovery process.
I think we are in a time as trying as any faced by generations before us, more so because we are so accustomed to having so many conveniences in our lives. How we handle it will define us as a generation.
