Black Ice AC/DC
Just picked up the new AC/DC album Black Ice the other day. My wife wanted to be nice to me.
Has anyone else checked it out? What is your opinion?
I have listened to it numerous times and I'm enjoying almost every song. Not as heavy as I thought it would be since it has been 8 years but good none the less.

I love some AC/DC, but I have not heard the new one.
Meanwhile, fishing in Russia:

What I have heard so far sounds like they stayed true, but maybe slowed down or lost a little edge.
I've seen them live several times - it could be the recordings I have heard are poor.I'm your huckleberry...

Maybe if they hit the road for this new album I'll get the chance to confirm that comment.

The album in one word is "safe". Same ole same ole from Acca Dacca..and that's not all a bad thing.
There was a rumor getting around here when the album was released that they will tour in our summer ( Dec to March) as part of a world tour."Contrary to popular belief, you will not rise to the occasion, but will fall to the level of your training"

I tried to get it but WalMart has been sold out

my wife got it for me the day it came out. a couple of the songs I didn't like but most sounded like an old friend. my wife and I saw them in portugal in a outdoor soccer stadium for the ball breaker tour. they are going to be in memphis the end of january. I will be doing my best to get me and the wife to it. ac/dc live in concert is a great experience.

Tour kicked off in Pa, Oct 28th, sold out 2 shows in NYC's Madison Square Garden next week, though there are second hand (tickets)sales available thru ticketnow, stubhub and ebay. Surprisingly the prices are not crazy high.
I don't see any concerts listed for your area yet, maybe early next year, join their website, most send out concert updates and pre-sale codes. Here is their website:
