Address Gun Violence in Cities: As president, Barack Obama would repeal the Tiahrt Amendment, which restricts the ability of local law enforcement to access important gun trace information, and give police officers across the nation the tools they need to solve gun crimes and fight the illegal arms trade. Obama and Biden also favor commonsense measures that respect the Second Amendment rights of gun owners, while keeping guns away from children and from criminals who shouldn't have them. They support closing the gun show loophole and making guns in this country childproof. They also support making the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent, as such weapons belong on foreign battlefields and not on our streets.

May be too late for the first shipment - I hear the gun stores are selling out of AR's fast.

But some stockpiled and one I heard on the radio are advertising that they have another shipment..

I wanted to get a suppressor (for my Glock), but it appears that an AR has moved up on my list. I dont have a long gun safe so I may keep one in parts. I'm not sure. I dont know much about ARs at this point, but I feel I need to get on the bandwagon before I lose the chance.

If I go through the processes of getting an SBR (I am a tiny girl), how likely would it be that I would lose it with the AWB? Will it be grandfathered?

Utah would be better than Cali for sure...but if we get a renewed AWB, I would guess it would be the same in that respect

NC isn't a bad place to be, either CTR. I would just suggest South of my County. My County is a welfare County

I have a line on as many of them as I want at a terrific price, so this is the first of several.

I didn't know Colt makes one - The one I had been contemplating was a Kel Tec PLR-16, but I'm sure Colt is better quality.

If you can, get the Colt. I may be making a mistake with the Sun Devil, but I have heard some good things. We'll see. It's only money, right?

I dont feel safe in this place...but I may pick your brain. It's not so much that I cant afford a long gun safe, it's the getting it in here and installed that is the problem. One can only ask so much of one's friends without being a user.

Yes, Utah is better on firearms laws than Cali. Kittylynn has family there, which would make the transition easier. Religion won't be a problem, either. I only picked Utah for the support that we would have which is already in place.

I don't doubt that NC or parts of it is a bad place. I have never been there. If going there I may choose the Ft Bragg area simply because of the military presence there but thats just me.
