The Best Burger
In your opinion, who makes the best burger? It can be any kind of burger, and the determination is taste, not healthiness.

I voted "other." I like the "Devil's Spit" burger at Famous Dave's. It's well seasoned and topped with pepper-jack cheese, their spicy "Devil's Spit" barbecue sauce, jalapeno bacon, and sweet/hot pickle slices.
I've heard that Five Guys' burgers are delicious but haven't had one yet.

Backyard Burgers (local fast food place). The burgers indeed taste backyard grilled and all of the lettuce, onion, tomato, etc is always fresh and good.
McB's wineburgers (local bar/restaurant). These are great burgers cooked in wine. Really good.*************************"It wouldn't take much for me to up and run...to another life somewhere in the sun."

Just for the record, Carls Jr. and Hardees are the same company. They tried switching the name to Carls, or star, up here and lost business due to nobody knew they were still Hardees just with a different name.

I like Fuddrucker's. I don't know if they are national or not, but they are awesome

I voted "other" cause you will generally find the best burgers at so called mom and pop joints and local dives. Where I'm at right now, two mom and pop's have the best. Barbers and Fullers. Both of them have been in business better than 40 years and have some of the best bacon cheeseburgers Ive ever tasted.
Now, for the Bama boys...if you have ever spent any time in Gulf Shores or Orange Beach...The Keg Bar and Grill has some outstanding burgers.
Weasels: Home of the 1lb hamburger. Used to be in the food court of Bel Air Mall in Mobile years ago before the remodeling.
Jacks: Great bacon cheeseburgers. I know they were a chain but I haven't seen em in years. They always got the bacon right (crispy) which most chain stores cannot do.
Those are the most memorable over the years.

I am usually not too picky on my hamburgers. I like Jack in the Box, McDonald's, Carl's Jr, In 'n Out, but whenever I get to the SF Bay Area I make sure that I stop at Nation's. The Biggest, and the Best that I have tasted anywhere.

Damn, I just viewed the Fuddruckers site and their burgers look awesome. I just may have to go and try them out. Since there is one in my area.

We have a local place that has a "Wisconsin 4-cheese Burger." For those of use that aren't detectives, it has 4 different Wisconsin cheeses, about a 1/2 pound of beef, 3 slabs of bacon, lettuce, tomatoe and is served between grilled sourdough bread. It comes with fries, a salad, bowl of soup and a drink for $6.95.

I love Carl's Jr burgers for chain restaurants, but McMenamin's out here makes a mean burger for local places.

I voted for Fuddruckers. They are the best but unfortunately the local joint closed down. We have a Five Guys and they are very good. I love the sessoned fries. They give youa ton of fries and that prolly why I always feel sick after eating there. It's worth it tho.
We also have a Red Robin. It's not bad.
