The presidential race was long and contentious. The economy is a mess. We're facing many problems which won't be easily or quickly solved. And you know what?
I'm thankful to be living in America today.
I'm thankful to those in our military, many of whom won't be able to join their families this Thanksgiving. For those who never will again, please accept my heartfelt thank you.
I'm thankful for the men and women who serve daily to protect our way of life, and do so without much notice unless is to criticize. By this I mean you. Thank you officers, and my thanks to your families.
Thanks to Brad and Tony for O/R, to all the moderators volunteering their time and to those behind the scenes who keep this site going.
There is so much else to be thankful for - I'm glad to be able to pass along these few appreciations as I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving.
