Need help editing digital photos
My girlfriend and I..well...ok let me start over. My girlfriend wanted to do a christmas card this year with her and I, and my dogs.
We took several pictures, but for whatever reason, we varied the flash and general lighting, my beagle always ended up with satanic looking glowing eyes. I think we all know that just about every camera and/or photo editing software has something to take out red eye on humans. I've heard some software is coming out now to replace the glow from animal's eyes. Do any of you have something like that available?? Or any advice on how to fix it?

Download Gimp (freeware that rivals Photoshop). Pull up your photo, zoom to the eyes, and airbrush out the red.
I think you can find Gimp on Cnet in the downloads section.

Picnik is an online photo editor with basic functions. I just looked and it has red eye settings for human and "furball". Nothing to install - if you try it let me know how it works. It's one of those things I heard about, but haven't had a reason to try.

Well, thanks to both of ya, I got it solved.
The picnik website took the pet eye out of my OTHER dog...which is nice. But it still didn't get it out of my other dog, his eyes were glowing so bad, it bled out of his eyes and onto his fur.
So, to solve that I downloaded GIMP, cut, copied, and pasted his eyes out of another picture where he didn't get nasty eye glow, and put it on the picture I wanted fixed. It looks perfect. Thanks for the help.No one has greater love than this, to lay down ones life for ones friends - John 15:13
