The Great Outdoors
I have a special treat for fans of the Great Outdoors. Thursday afternoon we'll have a post up on the front page written by an Alaskan Law Enforcement Park Ranger. This is a "can't miss" post for those of you who enjoy the outdoors.
In other news, my signature has sign up links for those of you who want to subscribe to posts on the front page.
If you routinely use a blog reader, or RSS reader, your can subscribe to the front page as well as the comments.
If you have no idea what RSS is and don't know a blog reader from a news reader you can opt to have the articles on the front page emailed to you. The comments can also be emailed to you. Once a day in the early morning hours (that may change but that's the current setting) subscribers will receive an email if there's new content.
These options will make it easy for regular readers to keep up with the articles and entries on the front page without having to remember to check the website constantly for new content.
Soon I'll be adding articles from well known LE authors as well.
Please remember to visit the sites of our authors. They put a lot of effort into their blogs and you can really get some interesting insight into their lives as cops. If you stumble across a great blogger or a great blog story let me know so I can try to get it on our site as well.

Thanks for finding these articles for the front page, Xiphos! They're great! Some are funny, some are moving, some are thought-provoking, and some are a combination of these. The authors sound like really cool people. Maybe if we comment on their stories they'll get interested in the forum and become active members!

Looking forward to seeing what you find next, Xiphos!

I liked the story. From your thread here though I expected something about the movie. I love John Candy movies
