Coughing, sneezing, stuffy nose, feeling like hell warmed over... yep, it's the cold season.
What are your favorite remedies for colds and crud?
Right now, I'm bundled up on the sofa with a blanket, heating pad, hot tea, honey, tonic water with lemon, Vicks, Chloraseptic, and my computer. So far it's in my chest, no telling where it'll migrate before it's over with. So share your hints and recipes for feeling better, and we can all reference this thread when we feel like a horse is laying on us.

I have a woman wait on me hand and foot. She brings me soup, and lots of fluids such as water and Gatorade. I use the different cold medicines and Halls cough drops. I also drink a little liquor. I lay down, staying wrapped up in blankets watching tv and playing PS3. From there I wait it out.

I just try to get a lot of sleep when I'm sick and hope my immune system can fight it off.
Hope you feel better soon!

Hope you feel better quickly.
Broth, teas, Zinc, Vit C and plenty of rest. If that does not do the trick I will resort to Robetussin and probably have to get antibiotics. Careful with the chest cold, it can turn into much worse, alot of the meds just cover up symptoms. If you are not better in a few days visit your doctor for a chest Xray.

I've been battling a terrible cold or upper respiratory infection this week. I've been going to bed early, wrapping up in blankets, wearing warm PJs, drinking orange juice and tea, and taking decongestants. I've been taking Tussionex (prescription) for the last couple of nights which has helped me sleep without coughing all night.
I hope you feel better soon, Duckylicious.
