A bit of both. Cards to close friends and relatives; e-cards to those with who I stay connected via the internet.

No lights on the tree. We decorate the old fashioned way with antique ornaments. White icycle lights on the exterior.

Neither, we use a large red ribbon.

2.) Are there clear or colored lights on your tree? I haven't put a tree up in at least 5 years. Partially 'cause it's just me at the house, but the last few years, I've been travelling around the holidays & just didn't have time. Last year, I left for Italy the day after Christmas.

1.) Neither. I don't send any cards. The people who get cards from me are the people I see.

2.) My tree has "casino" lights on it, half of them are 2 cards together (an ace and a jack), and the other half are red dice. More casino/poker fare decorate the tree as well.
