Are you happy with yourself?
Think about this to yourself, and be honest. Are you happy with yourself?

Not especially - not sure where that fits in your options.

I have not reached self-actualization yet. But when I take an outside look at my life, I can't be too upset about things. Yes I have much more left still to achieve in life and still have a lot of personal growth to go through, but when I look at all the people I deal with on a daily basis, my life rocks!
Hopefully 2009 will be a year where things take another turn for the better for me. I hope to get a little closer to the ultimate vision I have for myself.

I gotta say that I am very happy with myself. I'm the happiest I have been in a very long time. My life has taken a direction I didn't expect in the last year and things are going very well. Yes, there are a few bumps here and there but I'm very happy.
My dad, I miss him every day.

I'm pretty happy with myself overall. There are some things I'd like to improve on. Most significantly I'd like find a religion I can believe. And there is always more I could accomplish in my career. But I'm happy that I still have hope. And in the unlikely story that is America, there has never been anything false about hope!

I am very happy with myself, now for other things in my life, well they could be better. What I am referring to is my wife's illness which there is no cure only progression.

Very much so, wonderful wife, two lovely daughters who live close by, good health, retired with a pension and health benefits, mortgage paid, cars paid off, good neighbors. What more can a person ask for out of life?

Abraham Lincoln once said, "People are generally as happy as they want to be". And I believe that.
I want to be happy and I am. I have more problems (all health) than I've ever had in my life and I'm still happy with my life. I seriously doubt that anyone here who says they are unhappy would like to trade places with me. But I deal with those problems the best I can and enjoy the rest of my life.
I learned a couple of things a long time ago. One, it's hard to be unhappy if you're being grateful. When I start to feel sorry for myself, I start counting all the things I'm grateful for. And frankly, the list is pretty long. I had a fun job for a lot of years, have a great wife, two wonderful daughters and four of the best grandkids in the world. I have a good retirement paycheck every month, more than a lot of guys are out there actually working for. I have a nice warm house and it's in the 20's outside. I could go on and on.
The other thing is, I learned that if I pretend to be in a good mood, pretty soon I am in a good mood.
I also believe that everything happens for a reason and it's not my job to know why. I look back on my life and nothing bad ever happened to me that didn't later create something good down the road. The good thing would have never happened if the bad thing hadn't happened first. That's kept me from eating my gun more than a few times. When I used to be somebody (I'm center top)

Overall, yes. But there is room for improvement. I need to be in better physical shape and need to work harder at not working so hard at work (spend more time with family - learn how and when to 'switch off').

In short, no. In long...
...well there is way too much shit that I think is wrong with me that I'm not even going to try and post it all here. Matter of fact, the first thing I'm going to do when I get home is crawl into bed and forget about everything, or at least try too.

I am happy with my life pretty much, but there is a lot I could improve on.
