Making gifts

This year, like last, we decided to make most of the gifts we give. It's getting down to the wire now, and while some of the things are turning out great, other bits that I need (like bottles) have managed to come up missing. I'm going nuts trying to find them. I'm a very, very bad housekeeper, so hubby is the one that puts things away. Normally a phone call is all it takes to find where things have gone, this time even he doesn't know and I'm going nuts.

I hate when I put things in a "safe place" so I won't lose it and then can't find until 6 months after I needed it. Unfortunately no one else knows where I put it either.

Exactly. I know I had the damn bottles about a week ago, but are they where I remember them being? Of course not. I don't get that lucky when I'm under a deadline.

I'm going out to do my Christmas shopping momentarily. My original plan was to be at the door of the mall at this time, but I'm moving a bit slowly this morning.

Between work and traveling over the last six weeks, I've had no time to bake, send Christmas cards, or even put up decorations. The Christmas baking will be New Year baking instead.
