Gone for a while

I know some will jump with joy specially "Terminator" but I will be gone for a while.

My wife and I are leaving Sat, 2-14-09 for Buenos Aries, Argentina for a trip that will take us to several places in Argentina, Chile, Peru, Mexico and ultimately end in San Francisco, CA at the end of March.

I do intend to taste all the beer that they have to offer and eat all the exotic food that is offered as long as it is dead and at least warm.

It is summer in the Southern Hemisphere and the weather should be nice (except for lower Patagonia) until we hit San Francisco. So, I may still post until the 12 or 134th, then, Hasta La vista, baby.

Sounds very adventurous.
I would like to go south of the border at some point, but until they allow me to bring my pistola with me I will stick with Hawaii.

The seargent I know who used to be in Plano over the Citizens Police Academy wound up in a Mexican jail for about 3 days, bound in an ankle chain and handcuffs because another seargent who drove him down there had a loaded magazine in his car when the Policia searched it in a traffic stop.

That little adventure cost him over $5000.
