Well, I do feel quite lucky that he's almost 2 and this is the first time I've needed to do this. I know once he hits school it'll be more often, but (knock on wood) he's only been sick just this once. And I feel horrible because I gave it to him.

I was sick the day before...luckily it's a quick bug!

I'd recommend peanut butter ritz bitz too, but not with everything going on with salmonella. It's our favorite sick food though. Nice balance of protein and cracker.

Might want some gatorade too.

There is no such thing as extra coffee but I have been known to share some. I hope the little man (no not me) is feeling better. I just came down with some kind of bug yesterday. I feel like crapola.

He is doing well...napping right now. And blech. It seems like everyone is coming down with something. Hopefully you're back to your old (no, I'm not making a crack at age here) self soon!

Flu is going around, be careful, wash hands obsessively. If you feel like you are coming down with something, drink plenty of fluids (non alcholic), take extra vit C and Zinc!

Sick Food??? Now I know I'm weird. All this time I thought that sick food was something that my wife, Kittylynn dreamed up to eat when you're sick. Heaven forbid if you eat the stuff when you're not sick. Oh no, that is just not done. Applesauce, Gatorade, Ginger Ale, Chicken Noodle Soup, etc.

I'm glad he's OK. Little ones bounce back a lot faster than adults. Last year my oldest (7) came down with appendicitis. He was back to his old self in a week.

Several of my kids were specialiats in projectile vomiting....they would wake up, sit up puke like a fire hose and then go back to sleep without a drop on them. In my youngests son's case, it usually ended up on the far wall. Good times.......
