I'd love to see what this man does later, to try to figure out who decided it was not his time to go and why. Maybe if we can find a whole bunch of instances like this and figure out what the common denominator is, then we can figure out what God is really trying to do!

When I hear about people who have survived horrific accidents, I often wonder why they were spared and if, in fact, they have specific purpose or destiny. In the late 80s there was a plane crash in Detroit and everyone on the plane died in the crash (roughly 150 people, I believe) except for a 4 year old girl, whose injuries were not life threatening. Whenever I fly into Detroit and see the memorial there I wonder what, if anything, she's destined to do.
