So I had my Chiefs Interview today for the Airport Police Department and was offered the position. I start the Fire Academy on April 9, and Police Academy in August. I'm pretty psyched actually, the training is pretty hardcore and I'm looking forward to it. So anyways thought I'd share the news with all ya'll...

Thanks all. The next 12 months is pretty much going to be constant training so I probably won't be around as much, but I'll keep ya'll updated when I can. The LE academy is in Sitka at the Trooper academy, and is about 4 months long. I'm pretty excited though and looking forward to all of it...

I spent a day in Sitka on a cruise. Almost stayed. It's really beautiful! I suspect though, you'll probably hate it by the end of training.
