TECH SUPPORT!!!!!
Why in the hell, when I attempt to go to something in my favorites list on the interweb, will it periodically give me a page from "Google Toolbar" that says "Oops! This link appears broken"? The link is not broken!!!! You are broken!!!!! Damn you, technology!!!!!!

That usually means that the web site is unreachable for some reason (could be an outage at your ISP, or a problem with the site itself).
If you change Search provders, you'll get someother equally unwelcome screen.
Personally, I wish I could turn my Search provider off - I prefer the old IE6 screen with "Show Friendly HTTP error messages" turned off so I can see what the heck the REAL error message is. The "Show Friendly HTTP error messages" default option makes about as much sense as hiding the file extensions in Windows Explorer's defaults.
