Ours started at noon today while I was sleeping. Just got home a few ago from errands and saw they are still on public square. Likely be there when I go into work in an hour.

I went early and managed to meet and get my picture with Ted Nugent. I left after that and prefer to watch it on TV.

I saluted two groups with flags as I went by, but standing around cheering them on in uniform is frowned upon.

You saw that party too, eh Mac? I honked and made my noise as I was going home later. Looked like some of the hippies were toddling over, likely to be belligerants.

Hoped the retired Marine would be there again to knock a few of the hippies on their asses.

It was a lot of fun, actually!! Orion had a sign that said "Why should MY grandchildren pay for YOUR house?" that a lot of people thought was great. Mine was fairly boring and just said "Party like it's 1773!" We did have to leave a little early because the little one was getting tired and a bit overwhelmed, but the turn-out was great.

The Marine stood up out of his chair and returned my salute!

The other group was down near 95/LCW in front of the gas station.

I missed the hippy - maybe the stuffed him in a trunk until the party was over....

Attended tea party last Sat. There will be more.

The media scorn for exercise of freedom of speech is beginning to stink. Since the media doesn't listen, perhaps their commercial sponsors will, and reply, when I promise not to purchase their product or services.

Today was set aside for myself, with another retired Sgt, to drive west to visit a retired Sgt we once worked with. He has a rare neuro/ALS type disease and not much longer to go. Sad day, but a good day.

I was quite surprised to see Fox news supporting this while CNN was bashing them. All the while, MSNBC was making tea bag jokes!!!

Mr. Obama and the liberal elite give you all the 'stink eye', and tell you to go back to clinging to your guns and religion... (until they can manage to take that away from you too).
