Custom die cast police cars
I'd like a custom made replica die cast squad car from my department, and am wondering if anyone knows of a dependable site or business that I could look at. I found 2 websites online, but want to see what else is out there before making a decision. Specifically, if any of you have done business with a company like this and can vouch for them, I'd like to hear about it. Thanks!

yes post it! I once ordered one from someone on here and when i got it, it was in pieces. Looked pretty ghetto missing tires, broken antenna, ect... I would like to have one from someone who knows what they are doing. The person who made mine made many promises to send me a new one that was not a busted up. Never got it.

We have someone doing large models with our numbers on them and even our plate numbers for $90. Ill get the info and send it to you, they are supposed to make one for me with my K-9 markings on it too.

I had a guy on Crownvic.net make one for me. He did an AWESOME job. I believe he charged me $50, but that was 5 years ago. He does outstanding work.

Here's the web site of the local cop I was telling you about, who I bought a couple of cars from - Finally remembered it with the help of Google.
Notice that his web site compares his work with the actual car - very good quality. Click on "City Police", then look at his Dallas car compared to the real car's photo, for example:

I just got a PM back from the guy who did my squad and he said he's got time to do a few. If you're interested, I'll need good quality pictures of all 4 sides of the squad (preferably Crown Vics) and the roof (if any decals are on there). I'll also need at least one close up of the graphics so he can get the correct color/font/scale. He does the cars in the 1/24 scale model. He's also done some with working emergency lights, but they cost almost double.
