Great idea.
I try very hard to say thank you...I want them to know I appreciate their service.
I know the few times I have been given a simple thank you from a person in public (that I didnt just help) has really boosted my spirits. Sometimes it is hard to remember that people actually care about what you do, what you have given and the ultimate sacrifice some give.
