I just want to take this opportunity to thank all the coal miners who have risked their lives in the pitch black underground. Their tireless mining has provided the main source of energy for the advancement of humanity.
I also want to thank the oil drillers. Their extraordinary and dangerous work provides the lifeblood of civilization.
Without these brave souls, we would still be riding horses and reading by candlelight.
Thank you!

"Earth Day"
No offense Jenna but here are the types of people who celebrate "Earth Day"

Today is my birthday, as well. I will recycle the empty beer bottles when the day's over.
Be kind, be courteous . . .
and have a plan to kill everyone you meet.

This morning was indeed a good show on the radio - Rush and Beck both talked about Heston - Rush about when he called in to read the forward to Jurassic Park.

I left all my lights on, turned the heat way up, and will be test running my generator, chain saw, leaf blower, and weedeater when I get home.
I drove my large SUV to work with the overdrive off, and will fill up the gas tank on the way home, where this evening I plan to draw a very large and very hot bath.I'm your huckleberry...

I did my part I used my two stroke chainsaw to chop down a few trees for firewood, I took my biggest truck with the worst fuel mileage, ran the A/C on high and hauled trailers to take trash that could be recycled to the dump. I also used the dump trailer that has a hydraulic cylinder (fossil fuels
) to dump all this recyclable material. I also listened to talk radio all day.

I was debating turning on the 300 watt flood lights now that it's dark, but my dad would get pissed off since two of them point his way.
