Today I preformed a miracle...
I went to CostCo and got a bunch of things (including 2 cases of soda and a case of juice, chips, bread, granola bars...etc...you get the idea) and spent LESS than $65. It's an April miracle.

I haven't left Costco for under $500 in years.

I feel the same way when Jenn Beth and I go to Sam's club..................you just keep grabbing that bulk item crap.

That's exactly why we don't go there often. One of these days I'm going to have to upgrade my membership to the Executive one so that I get some money back.

I have a Costco list to take care of this weekend. One item is the Cape Cod chicken salad, it is delicious!

We get there dog food. Sometimes we get it by the pallet load. I back the truck up to the dock and they load it on. I also get all my lunch items there. The said thing is the lunch items only last me a week, I need to stop eating so much

I haven't tried the Cape Cod chicken salad. They were sampling a Chipotle Chicken Salad today, but I didn't try it.

We got a B.J.'s membership last week to get good deals on bulk packages of diapers. Then we walked around and saw the deals we could get on bulk packages of dog food, and protein bars, and beer . . .
I'm sure it won't be long before I drop $500 on a trip myself.Be kind, be courteous . . .

Any time you folks are in Washington, I'll be glad to take you to the first Costco - where you actually used to have to be someone to get a membership.

I worked for costco back in the day. It really is a solid company, good business plan, and their products kirkland (sp?) are top quality as well. They really don't make much profit on their products sold either which is pretty cool.
I saw one store built up from the ground. It's SO basic. Next time take notice to the heating/cooling elements, the walls, and how everything is setup isle to isle. It's pretty much a warehouse, with little overhead costs. Orange spray paint, floor buffer, and light bulbs lol
I havn't been to costco in nearly 5 years though.
Not an LEO. But hopefully soon

I dread any time my wife mentions Sam's Club. My checkbook is always a couple hundred lighter, and we really don't have much to show for it.

I hadn't even thought about going there for my lunch stuff, and I have a Sam's Club membership. I know where my next paycheck is going.

I always dread going to Costco/BJs. The bill is always at least $300 and it always seems like there's only 4 cashiers working with lines at each counter apprx 25' long.
