Local LE Memorial Ceremonies
Do you go to them? Participate in them? Great excuse to catch up with old friends and maybe make some new ones. Or how about on the state level? Yeah, I know everyone here talks about going to DC for Police week but how about on the state and local levels?
Here's some of the highlights of mine. Overall I think the whole ceremony was nicely done. Too bad they didn't put the whole thing on here. That's my city's Chief of Police speaking.

I went to one on Thursday at the state's public safety memorial. Five names were added to the wall: four that died in the line of duty in 2008 and one that died in the line in 1967.
There is another one being held in the state this coming Friday in conjunction with the national event. I'm not sure if I am going or not, but we have a group going.
