Any holiday plans?
What are you doing, if anything, for the holiday weekend? Is it just another work day for you?
I went to my town's parade and memorial ceremonies this morning, other than that I plan a quiet weekend at home.

Our memorial day ceremony is Monday morning just after I get off of work, so I'll probably stick around for that before going to bed.

Got most of my yard work done today, off to work at 8pm tonight, tomorrow is a full day of planting flowers the wife just bought at lowes, mulching (hopefully), finishing laying all the river rock, get everything else ready for the party we are kicking off sunday night. guitar hero world tour / corn hole party.
looks like a bunch of people are coming over, so im looking forward to a nite of no kiddos, and a very good time wih family, and friends.

Was supposed to be off, but got a call at 0800, night shift had a 4 x fatal collision and needed help ref body i.d. etc.
Oh well double time and I got home by 1600 in time to have a beer in the garden (hottest day of the year so far) and a nice home made curry.the sole advantage of power is that you can do more good.

Hmmm, lets see, our holiday weekend began Friday. We took the motorcycle to Metamora, IN and spent some time in the shops, checking the old grist mill, then watching the draft horses pulling the barge up and down the canal. We had a ball. Saturday we went to 2 birthday parties, one for his neice and another for one of the grandkids. (side note: finally had to meet his ex-wife, that was a trip!) Today we took a motorcycle ride with my sister-in-law to Versailles State Park, had lunch and later today his son and son-in-law are coming over for some fishing. Tomorrow we're going to a Cincinnati Reds game and taking a walk around Fountain Square in downtown Cincinnati. Tuesday its supposed to rain so we're going to probably chill out around the house.
