Officer shot in face, manhunt underway
In North Augusta, SC an officer was shot in the face during a traffic stop. I don't have much more info than that just now, the shooting happened just over two hours ago, and officers from all local jurisdictions are out looking for the POS.

NORTH AUGUSTA S.C. - NBC 26 News has learned an officer has been shot in North Augusta.
He was shot several times, but his injuries are not life threatening.
Investigators tell 26 News they have identified a shooting suspect, Timothy Houston and are searching for him.
Investigators say Houston is driving a white Cadillac.

NORTH AUGUSTA.-- News 12 has learned that an officer was shot through the window of a patrol car near the Bradleyville Road area in North Augusta.

They caught the bastard. Career criminal, in and out of jail for the last 21 years. The officer was treated and released and is recovering at home. Apparently it was a sideways shot, one report has the bullet passing through his nose. Any way you look at it, it was a close call.
