Prayer Request
This morning I had to do the hardest thing I have ever done. I had to go with my sister in law to the hospital to be there when the doctor told my 81 year old father in law that there is nothing more they can do in his fight with cancer. They say he may have six more months of life left. He has been fighting cancer for about 6 years and his body can't take any more of the treatments.
Knowing the power of prayer in OR I am asking that you all keep him in your prayers. We are keeping faith that he will beat the doctors prediction and last longer without the pain that will eventually take over. We hope to take him to the Smokey Mts that he loves passionately before he can't get around any longer. We are hoping that if we keep him busy his will to live will help him go a while longer. So if you have room in your prayers please include him.

Thank you all. He didn't take the news well, but we are all trying to help him deal with it. Each sibling is preparing a meal for him and my mother in law every day so that they will eat properly. They both tend to not eat if the food isn't already prepared and now neither of them can get out so with 7 kids their meals are covered.
Thank you all again, I will keep you posted.

You guys are the greatest, really.
Unfortunately, he is back in the hospital. I got a call yesterday morning that he fell during the night and sustained a head injury. He was kept for observation and we will know more today.
