Somebody is very bored at work........
SI VIS PACEM PARA BELLUM-Ex-Sheriff Martin Howe to Will Kane in "High Noon"
"It's a great life. You risk your skin catching killers and the juries turn them loose so they can come back and shoot at you again. If your honest , your poor your whole life. And , In the end , you wind up dying all alone on some dirty street. For what? For nothing. For a tin star."
Far from being a handicap to command, compassion is the measure of it. For unless one values the lives of his soldiers and is tormented by their ordeals , he is unfit to command.

I usually get plastic.. usually specifically to piss off the hippies when they told me I shouldn't have it. Ever since then I've gotten plastic.

I never understood the tree-huggers preferring paper - Which would they rather kill, 50,000-year-old dead dinosaurs or 10-year-old live trees?
Plastic because I can carry 5 or 6 sacks in one trip from the car to the house. If i get paper, I might have to walk a few steps more because they don't have handles.
I have noticed the plastic bags getting weaker over the years - They used to be almost indestructible. Now they split very easily if you have something as harmless as a cereal box with sharp corners. I think it's partially because they're thinner, but also because recycled plastic is weaker than brand new plastic.

I should have Googled before I posted - Those were 230-million year old dinosaurs, not 50,000 years old. Well after about 100 years, it doesn't matter anyway.
That's what my father always told me - "No matter what your problem is, or how big of a deal you and everyone else think it is, no one including you or them will remember it, or even give a shit in a hundred years.".
That pretty much sums up my feelings about the paper vs plactic delima - 100 years from now, none of us are gonna give a shit. The birds and otters that our plastic bags killed would be dead by then anyway

Hmmm, you might have an idea there. I think I just might apply something along those ideas for myself. (and others who read sig lines)
The paper being used for bags is getting thinner, too. So it seems. It doesn't quite have the feel that it once had.

Financially: Credit/Debit. Sometimes paper, but I usually use plastic.
Retail Purchase Conveyance Methods: Normally, Reusable Fabric Bags.
If I forget the Reusable bags at the house, I get plastic, then return them to the store's recycle plastic bags bin. Sometimes, although rarely, I will get a few paper bags, they hold up well for reuse on some projects around the house, and our cats like empty paper bags...
