Could you do it?
Sometimes we hear about a particularly heinous crime that usually involves kids, torture, rape or some other horrible thing and on the boards I've seen people say the criminal should get the same. Eye for an eye etc..
If you were told that the only way that the criminal would recieve these punishments would be if you did it... would you?
This means that you would torture, maim or horribly kill these folks in a comparable way to how they hurt their own victims.Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft. -

I vent about it, but no I couldn't do it. I'm not a cold blooded killer. Could I kill someone in the line of duty if my life, or the life of another person is threatened, sure. But to kill someone in the manner they killed another human being, no, I couldn't.
I'm not on that level.

Not me. At least not if I didn't know the person. But, if it was my kid or a kid I knew I'm not so sure. I think I could kill them- still not in the way they perpetrated their crimes though.

I view it more like putting down an overly agressive animal. They need to be destroyed, but to maim them in revenge before letting them die? Nope.

I will be totally disgusted with the way these savages behaved/acted but I would not stoop down to their level otherwise I am no better than them. But I am not in control if somehow they fall down the stairs or trip and fall on the floor with their cuffs on while being taken into custody....heh heh

I guess im with bearcat. Im an asshole. Yea I could kill them.
Now for those who said they couldnt, what if for some reason there was a video of them killing their victim can you kill them now?

It's not an issue of killing them or not. I could do that. Just not in the same way in which they did their crimes. I mean, I'm couldn't do whatever it is their sick minds came up with in the first place.
