...and the humidity is at 36%, there's nothing that tastes better than a Slurpee. Thank goodness they make them sugar free now.

For us, this is pretty much as hot as it gets. We're used to 80-90 in the summer. Certainly not a million degrees that's coming straight from the pits of Hell.

Well, I didn't get brain freeze because I'm smart like that...but Orion did. I shouldn't laugh cuz I'm his mom and all, but it's hilarious watching a 2 year old get brain freeze.

Yeah, it's 102 or sumptin at SeaTac but still . . .
People say, "Gosh it's hot." I have to remind them it's not as hot as say Iraq or my lovely two week vacation to NTC when the thermometer read 129 a few years ago. You know it's hot when guys were getting first and second degree burns from touching the metal sides of the trucks and tracks.

You missed the fires tonight Mac. Island in the middle of Lake Ballinger is slowing burning to ash.
Nothing like a serious fire season and our National Guard assets are limited due to overseas adventures.
