The rain is getting to people....
I guess people are getting fed up with the rain around here because they are starting to lose their marbles.
First we had some 5150 lady call our graffiti hotline and leave a 5 minute message talking about how she used to be in the military and the FBI and how the FBI swore her to secrecy. About what we don't know but now they are planning on blowing up her house, using her leaky roof where the rain water comes in. Evidently the FBI can morph into rain droplets and invade her house this way. Did I mention she had travelled both coats of the United States in an effort to find the reason the FBI was tracking her?
The voice mail finally cut her off and this isn't the first time she's called. I suspect she calls dispatch and dispatch transfers her to the graffiti hotline.
Otherwise, I was writing some parking tickets when this extremely drunk girl cames up to me sobbing and saying some guy was going to "kick her ass". Actually concerned I asked her what was going on and if she needed the police. She said she was talking on her cellphone because she is lost and needs to find help. I asked her where she was trying to go and she said... "I don't know...Atlanta I think." She then said "I don't need the police I just thought I should tell you that the guy threatened to kick my ass if I kept talking on my phone."
Just as I was about to key my radio up and ask for officers to come on scene and handle this girl, one of her sober friends came up and took her to their car.
Does anybody else feel like the rain makes people looney?

I've noticed warm weather does it to people
As soon as the snow melts, and it's warm out, people go fucking nuts.

Then people learn to drive...and when the snow finally melts, it's accidents all over again because they can't recognize the fact that they can't go hotrodding around just because the snow is gone.

OK I opened my mouth too soon. We've finally had a couple of days without rain. People went absolutely bonkers last night, probably due to the nicer weather. For some reason they all felt like running into each other with cars, fighting or passing out drunk.
