Everyday in America...
we are plagued with negatives: unemployment, economy, poverty, inequality, politics but last week I was able to be part of something that I think every citizen of this country should experiance. My brother returned home to Colorado from Iraqi.
I wish I could post the video because if it doesn't bring a tear to your eye I don't know what would.
Before being dismissed.

Right after being dismissed.

Our first glimpse.

The picture speaks for itself.
There’s a promise I need you to make
While I’m gone you take care of the love
And I’ll deal with the hate.
Don’t worry about me; I’ll be all right
Just care for your children and sleep tight
I’ll keep you safe on my watch tonight

Welcome home , Soldier.
SI VIS PACEM PARA BELLUM-Ex-Sheriff Martin Howe to Will Kane in "High Noon"
"It's a great life. You risk your skin catching killers and the juries turn them loose so they can come back and shoot at you again. If your honest , your poor your whole life. And , In the end , you wind up dying all alone on some dirty street. For what? For nothing. For a tin star."
Far from being a handicap to command, compassion is the measure of it. For unless one values the lives of his soldiers and is tormented by their ordeals , he is unfit to command.

Police Officers put themselves at risk for strangers every day. Some do not make it home to their families. Next time you think of saying something negative about the police, remember...YOU are one of the strangers.

What fort?
Im glad he made it home. Thank him for usThe world would be much cleaner if blind people carried brooms instead of sticks.
At communion, when the priest says "Body of Christ", I say "Thanks, I've been working out", then I grab the cracker and run back to my seat
An amateur practices until he gets it right. A professional practices until he cant get it wrong.
They've got us surrounded? Good. Now we can fire in any direction. Those bastards won't get away this time.

I live in the Springs. Next time give me a call for a meet and greet. Traffic 121 can come down too.
