Eat some Pizza!!!!!!
Not sure if it is just in Washington or through out the U.S., but Pappa Johns Pizza will be donating all proceeds from pizzas' ordered on 12/08/09 and 12/09/09 to the Fallen Lakewood Police Officers Fund. That is a great and very inspiring thing to do from the owner......................... ..

Outstanding!

On Sunday, November 29th, 4 Police Officers were shot and killed in Lakewood, WA. On Tuesday and Wednesday, December 8th and 9th, every Papa John's Pizza in the Northwest, from Everett south to Lacey, from the Kitsap Peninsula to Snoqualmie, Greater Seattle and the East Side, will donate 100% of all profits to the four families of the slain officers. Please spread the word. In a world where we can’t do enough, we intend to do as much as we can. This isn’t a sales pitch, this is a plea. Help us give back to four families who need your compassion and support now more than ever. If you have any questions on store location or participation, please don’t hesitate to ask me. Please pass this along to anyone you know in the area.

Thats great!
Just because your sign off after you're shift is done, doesn't mean that it's over and put blinders on. You're a cop 24/7 wether you like it or not. If thats something you can't handle, you should find a new line of work!

Let me tell you, in dealing with the LODD promotions in my area, the families will really appreciate this gesture. The showing of support does wonders in the healing process. We need to show our support to our LODD families out there that we care. Don't forget them during the Holidays, either. Especially the children.
