    18.9 Inches

Okay, get your heads out of the gutter

Last night we got 18.9 Inches of snow.

I was in a F250 Super Duty DPW truck, I could not stop for stop signs or anything or I would be faced with getting stuck (This was in town mind you)

There were areas that the snow was up to the bottom of the truck bumper, filled the engine compartment with snow, power steering when out because the belt was slipping because of the snow in there.

Half town lost power but luckly it came back in a few minutes.

What a night, now tonight we are facing winds, neg windchills of 15-20, we have a solid layer of ice on the roads from clean up that is not going anywhere.

Oh I cant wait for bar time!
Somebody Please, what the hell is that smell?

The views, opinions, stupid off the cuff comments, mouthy, obnoxious, thoughtless, etc etc etc are not always or even some of the time the belief of my department, so bugger off!

Yeah, and my work told me that the roads were fine and we would be working. I told them in not so nice words that even if they took the summer tires off my work truck, and replaced them with snow tires that I would not be driving all day in this stuff.

There’s a promise I need you to make
While I’m gone you take care of the love
And I’ll deal with the hate.

Don’t worry about me; I’ll be all right
Just care for your children and sleep tight
I’ll keep you safe on my watch tonight
