definetly justified. he drew a handgun (possibly from ankle holster or hip, i couldn't tell) when he put the rifle down. It becomes clearly visible to the camera angle, after he falls to the ground.

Justified....one hand out of view of the officer confronting the suspect, which is odd when setting a rifle down. Plus, the backup officer yells GUN...that tells me he is reaching for something besides his ID. I wonder why the backup officer didn't fire first since he saw what was happening. Maybe he did and I missed it. I'm viewing on a small laptop monitor.
