DEA written test and orientation this week...
I have my DEA written test and orientation this week (finally!) Its been about a year and half in the job application process so I'm pretty excited. I think I have to watch a video and then write about it or something along those lines and the recruiter said that if I pass the written test I should have my panel interview in about 2-3 weeks... So any input or advice would be great or if anyone has any knowledge of what to expect, really hoping all goes well... I've been waiting a long ass time, but as they say, nothing good comes easy

Just pay attention and I'm sure you'll do fine.
Just because your sign off after you're shift is done, doesn't mean that it's over and put blinders on. You're a cop 24/7 wether you like it or not. If thats something you can't handle, you should find a new line of work!

I think you will do fine. Particulary if you can understand written information, process it, and apply it. Keep us posted.

Well, the test was taken and I think I did well. I should find out in 1-3 weeks if I officially passed, and if I did, I will have my panel interview scheduled.... fingers crossed

PASSED!!! I have my panel interview Monday! I'm freaking pumped, hopefully I can nail this thing. I think this is probably the most crucial step in their hiring process so I will let you know how it goes. I think its 3 DEA guys and they ask me 21 questions, which is kind of intimidating. Any good tips on LEO interviews? Obviously, being completely honest is a given, but any advice is welcome or if someone knows of some other threads regarding LEO interviews let me know. Thanks for all the support everyone
