Remembering
Trucker who has painted his cab and trailer with the names of all those who
lost their lives in 9/11. The trucker's name is John Holmgren from Shafer,
Minn. The trucker has been "pulled over" numerous times just so the troopers
can get their picture taken with the truck.*

Just goes to show you that not all people hate the police. Its amazing at times how the things that happen in life reflect how one can change their life. I have been thanked many times in the recent weeks for the service that we all do. Mostly because the Movie Flight 93 is coming out soon. While A few of us were not cops during that time, its still refreshing to know that even though we never forget when we loose a brother or sister that the U.S.A is not going to forget either.
There are times in ones life when we must look at who we are and what we are and begin to analyze it with a fine tooth comb. I was once told my a veteran officer that the job of a Police Officer is not a job that you choose, its a job that chooses you.Being the best is not what always counts. What counts is always trying your best.
Remember who you are, and where you came from. That way you never get a big head.
May those that lost their lives in 9-11 RIP, for the things you did not many could do. You left so many behind so that you could save so few. For now we stand strong as one, and will not look back till the fight is done. (me)

Very, very nice!

A Smile
A smile cost nothing, but gives so much.
It enriches those who receive it,without making poorer those who give.It takes but a moment, but the memoryof it sometimes lasts forever.
None is so rich or mighty that hecan get along without it,and none is so poor but thathe can be made rich by it.
A smile creates happiness in the home, fosters goodwill in business, and is the countersign of friendship.
It brings rest to the weary, cheer to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad,and it is nature's best antidote for trouble.
Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed,or stolen, for it is something that is of novalue to anyone until it is given away.
Some people are too tired to give you a smile.Give them one of yours, as none needs a smileso much as he who has no more to give.

I'm thinking that somewhere there is a motor officer that if given a reason, would cite this guy.

That truck/trailer is unbelievable. It's great to see stuff like that. Even though it happened 5 years ago, it's good to see that kind of support still for our military, police officers, firefighters, and everyone else in public safety. No one has greater love than this, to lay down ones life for ones friends - John 15:13

Out of curiosity, I wonder how many times he has to clean eggs, garbage, other shit off of his rig and repaint after it's been keyed?
