O/R Mobile
How do I enable my iPhone's browser to view O/R's mobile site? As of now, it just shows the funn site, which is impossible to navigate on a 2"x3" screen.

I don't know about your gay fanboy phone
but my Android phone has an option in the settings to change how the browser identifies itself. See if you can find a setting for mobile client instead of iPhone or desktop.

My Blackberry just sits there showing "running script" forever. It never shows the site. It used to work fine so it has to be something on my end.

The Opera browser somehow got approved by Apple today. I just pulled up O/R on it and it defaults to the mobile version.
Disclaimer : Opera opens the sites on their servers, re-render it to a compressed format and send the smaller compressed content out to their mobile browsers. This is how they achieve the speed improvements, but it also means your data exists on their servers. Even a SSL connection (HTTPS) is interrupted with them doing the same re-rendering during it.
Worth worrying about? For most things, nah. Worth knowing about though. So, there's that, and an option to try out.
BTW, easiest way to find it is search the App store for "Opera mini" It has April 13 as release date, free download, 1 meg. A couple similarly named things snuck in to trick people.

With the browsers on my Android phone I can change how the browser identifies itself to the website. In the settings I can select "Android" or "iPhone" which will render mobile pages. I can also select "Desktop" which will render the full version of the site, pictures and all.
Odd, do you know if the data on the Opera servers is persistent or do they purge it when you end your session? This raises some interesting concerns for the secure sections of the website if Opera employees can browse our logins and data...That which does not kill me, better start fucking running.

This Opera minibrowser makes similar settings nicely accessible - switch from full or mobile within it in seconds. Unfortunately on most sites I tried, including here, it doesn't seem to make a difference - I still get the mobile version when full is selected. I'm hoping they (Opera) will fix how it reports as a browser so that feature is more useful. The weirdness that is how Opera renders full pages I doubt will ever change.
They claim they don't save the data per their privacy policy. Though they go on to say their servers save cookies so they split hairs differently than I would. At the end of the day it all comes down to how much you trust this set of people you'll never meet. As they say during a part of that FAQ on how they handle encryption "If you do not trust Opera Software, make sure you do not use our application to enter any kind of sensitive information." Fair enough.
I won't be using this to log in to anything, but then I already only browse sites on my mobile device as a guest since I'm often using public WiFi. If a site allows a SSL connection then I'll log in, but even today that's all too rare.
