This Sunday I will be visiting my scrap marble site and a couple of farm fields where the farmers push their field boulders into piles. I will also be stopping at two greenhouses along the way.
Of course I will reward myself with a few bloody mary's!

My beloved (said through gritted teeth) puppy got into my garden by chewing through my temporary fencing and she dug up one of my squash plants. Then she must've eaten it because we can't find a shred of it anywhere. Just the one plant, just the one dig site. I'll be puzzled once I get done being pissed.

Sorrel bit the dust

A lot had melted by the time I took the pics. There really was not that much damage.

Dude, that looks like it sucked. Sorry about the sorrel, is there any way to preserve what's left?

Garden/Bloody Mary Tour
First stop, the scrap marble source

Pretty good pickin's today.
...on to the rocks!
This pile was a little tricky. A few volunteer trees have grown since my last visit. I took a two-wheel cart over to the pile and picked the nicer rocks.

This pile was a little easier. Both piles were only 50 yds apart.

in two HUGE gardens from the time I could hold a hoe until I was about 14. I always said I would not do my own garden. If I can't get it at the store or a vegetable stand, I don't need it. I will, however, plant 5-6 Better Boy tomato plants because I love home-grown tomato sandwiches.
