Kenny's is another one of my favorite Sunday stops.

There is always some free food there... yumm

and delicious bloody mary's

Then back home to unload the days haul.

I just tilled in a bunch of horse and cow manure into our plot (graciously provided by the critters). I'll start getting ready to plant soon.

IMGreat, I'm thinking that the next time I'm working in DM I'm gonna have to figure out where your garden is and pillage it at around 3AM...

we started planting yesterday. Had to wait for the frost to be over this weekend.

Top dressing with compost/weed barrier
The stables where we get composted horse manure for free.


Back home we unload

We lay newspaper down and then cover with compost.


Main Plot is done

Orphan area is done.

That was two of my truck loads of compost. We will go back for one more load next week to finish off some of the other raised beds.
