i know around here they wont shake your hand at a traffic stop ( why is that)

last time i got pulled over it was a cop i knew and we where bullshitting a little and when he left i went to shake his hand and hes like sorry cant do it at a traffic stop. i have been told it could look bad on the cops part like maybe he took a bribe or something along those lines. what do you think about that?

Weird. Not even a look at the DL. Wonder if he was on his way somewhere else and he really didn't have time to do a more complete job? He seemed ready to go when he first made his approach.

Seems like he didn't want to do much with it at all... I figure he was either headed somewhere, or on his way home. Seems like the cop was pretty much just wanting to be done.
