Can you help a sister out?
I currently volunteer as a Final Refuge Foster Home for Old Dog Haven (arlington, wa)...they take senior dogs out of shelters and place them into either foster homes til they get adopted or put them in Final Refuge homes which are hospice homes for dogs. The Final Refuge homes give the dogs a wonderful place to live out their lives..whether it be 3 days or 3 years. The rescue provides EXCELLENT veterinary care for the dogs and will assist dogs no matter what their condition. They also assist other rescues in placing senior dogs and help owners who can no longer care for their dogs.
The Animal Rescue Site is having a contest to donate $10,000 to the highest voted for shelters and/or rescue organization. Could you please go vote for Old Dog Haven in Washington State for me? You can vote once a day.
The money will be a boon for a wonderful rescue who does great work that most people cant do. Thank you!!! Once you vote you have to enter an animal name..or it doesnt count.
PS: they provide this service all over Western Washington..not just in Arlington

A common mistake made when trying to come up with a totally foolproof design is to completely underestimate the innate ingenuity of fools.
