MN to WI

Ok guys, So I was wondering what has to be done in order to be employed as a police officer in WI. I have a 2 year degree from MN and am POST eligible in MN. I know I found the website at one point and time that said what the process was but be danged if I can find it now. LOL Thank all.

Try that on for size. If I remember right it's simply a week or two course where you test out of stuff, as long as you've had a few years on at an out of state department.

Re-reading your post it sounds like you are not currently a LEO, therefore that particular link doesn't apply to you. However, that site I gave you will be able to answer any questions you have, just in a diffent spot... Plus it lists all current LEO job openings in WI.

Hey!!! That's the one I found before that I was looking for. Thank you ISPTI!!! Yea you are correct I have my degree and all but I have not been employed at a LEO yet. That's why I am expanding my search to a few diff states lol Thanks again for the link.

I'm pretty sure that you would have to go through the 520 hour LESB (law enforcement standards board) certification program to be certified in Wisconsin. The "short course" is for those that held Wisconsin certification, but let it lapse.
